Training Your Drivers
One of the most effective ways to reduce your fleets Carbon Footprint is through educating your drivers. Driver training can play a part in improving fuel efficiency therefore lowering your Carbon Footprint. Safer, more fuel efficient driving is more to do with driver attitude and time management than it is about skills behind the wheel.
Harsh acceleration from standing can use up to 60% more fuel than is necessary and changing gear between 1500rpm - 2000 rpm can reduce your fuel consumption by 15%
